MORE ABOUT WHOLY WATER
No, Wholy Water is not affiliated with the Catholic Church. It is not part of some new-age cult. It does bring to mind the holiness of water in the popular book and movie "Dune". In this case, the water brothers are Wholy Water founders Michael Morse and Gordon Andrews. They started Wholy Water in 1983.
Wholy Water grew out of the idealistic idea of filling tanks from springs in Big Sur and bringing the water to give away free in Santa Cruz. Even though this idea turned into a mostly traditional business, the ideal has carried on. Wholy Water continues to offer the best products they can create or find at reasonable prices.
In 1986, the founders developed their own brand of drinking water system, the Natural Solution. At that time, the official word was, "Anyone selling a water purifier is a charlatan. You don't need one. Tap water is perfectly safe and healthy for you." Back in the mid-eighties, the industry was still in an early stage. Certain materials and components were non-existent or hard-to-find. Lots of inventiveness kept Wholy Water moving ahead. By 1993, the industry had progressed considerably, and the Natural Solution was upgraded to include the purest components. For example, so lead is not added to the water, no brass parts are used after treatment.
In 1990, "the Natural Solution for Showers" was introduced as one of the first shower units on the market. It was transformed in February of 1995 to its present form, "the Natural Solution for Bath Or Shower." This product meets several needs that other products can't. It uses a replaceable cartridge, so you do not need to discard the whole unit. This makes more sense ecologically and in price per gallon. It treats for volatile chemicals which other units don't touch. In order to manifest this new product new plumbing fittings which were not previously manufactured had to be created. These fittings are an exclusive item to Wholy Water.
Wholy Water continues to produce excellent water at affordable prices.
